Nu är det Jul igen,
och Julen vara skall till Påska.
Så är det Påsk igen,
och Påsken vara ska’ till Jula.
Det var inte sant,
för där emellan kommer Fasta.
Now Christmas is here again
Now Christmas is here again,
and Christmas we’ll have till Easter.
Then Easter is here again,
and Easter we’ll have till Christmas.
Now this will not be so,
for in between comes Lenten-Fasting
